Baked - Worthing
Worthing bakery Baked is the go-to place for delicious brownies and innovative flavours. They make an incredible product that is sold in store and online, but it’s also a business that genuinely does good - so when they reached out about rebranding, it was important to tell their story.
The new identity marks the 10-year anniversary for the business and an exciting new chapter. Baked is very well known in the local area – it’s nothing short of a Worthing icon and deserved to be more visible!
Central to the business are people – both the team who are passionate about what they do but also about providing young people with employment, supporting local community groups, charities and businesses. It’s baking that does good.
"Working with Carrie has been a dream. From the start she totally got what we were about - our values, vision, and what we do. It has been great seeing the rebrand come together and represent where we are now."
Lauren Roffey, Owner
The process involved doing a deep dive into mission, purpose and values as well the business’ story and competitor landscape. Passion for the product, the team and local community shine through as integral to what they do. In addition to this, owner Lauren believes in supporting young people into work, championing local businesses and choosing sustainable options.
Taking inspiration from this passion, commitment to doing good and squishy characteristic of their brownies, the new logo is made up of a square shape representing brownies, with a heart-shaped bite mark taken out of it – representing passion, people and doing good.
Colours and fonts were chosen to represent the high level of quality of the product, with Moranga being the perfect choice as their primary typeface due to its fun and squishy characteristics.
The new identity is fresh, welcoming and playful, with eye-catching illustrations across packaging, website and marketing assets.
